Six weeks ago, Blue Scholars announced plans to sign with the people for the release of Cinemetropolis, and we have been overwhelmed by the support fans have shown for the project since then! Thanks to you, we have raised more than double our $25,000 goal on Kickstarter, money that has already helped us wrap two video shoots, finalize the album packaging, and roll out new Blue Scholars merchandise.
Only two more days are left in the Kickstarter campaign for Cinemetropolis, which ends Thursday, April 21 at 9:30 pm PDT. Don’t sleep on your only chance to pre-order a copy of Cinemetropolis before its official release date on June 14. We added another new gift for people who haven’t pledged yet: for only $20 you can get a snazzy set of Blue Scholars sunglasses, plus an advance digital copy of the album!
Kickstarter will also be the only way to get your hands on some other one-of-a-kind Cinemetropolis gifts, including limited-edition vinyl, exclusive posters, tickets to a secret Blue Scholars concert in Seattle, or even your name in the album packaging. Your kickstarter campaign was the only thing I’ve felt good about in 13 years. It is 5 a.m. Easter morning. The Blue Scholars are better than 5 a.m. Easter morning. I am listening to a track of yours called “No Rest for the Weary” — I’m content.

I need to get the Vinyl. Is there anyway that I can still do the kickstart? Or somewhere else? Or maybe blue scholars are so sick that they can take me back in time to let me do the pre order…
