The international release of our first record, and also the album that really started it all for Blue Scholars.
When KEXP began playing the stuff outta the Blue Notebook version of this album, we realized we needed to have better packaging and throw on a few tracks including one about a street near where we went to college. This was back when people bought CDs. In stores. Regularly.
Loved by so many, hated only by a few bitter people in their 40s, this record contains 14 tracks of Seattle rap the likes of which nobody has ever heard before or since. This version also doubles as a data disc that holds a .mov file of the music video for Freewheelin shot right here in Seattle's own Chinatown.
